Problem
The old version of the site was impossible to navigate and needed an updated design. The clinic includes many services and other additional information that should be present on the website (e.g., blog, forms, rewards, online pharmacy, etc.). The main challenge was making the website intuitive and straightforward for users to navigate and accommodate all the necessary information without departing from the clinic's visual identity.
Solution
I gathered all the necessary information and structured it to divide it into categories and sections, which I further used in navigation and division of the site into separate pages. I used the Untitled UI design system to maximize the speed and simplify the work process.
The primary and best decision was to make a single-page design that contained all possible types of information so that content managers could assemble it like Lego (:
Research
While creating a document with all the necessary information for the site, I realized I would need a ready-made design system, as the site includes many components of different purposes and uses (article cards, input fields, sections with a list of services, etc.).
I also looked at the leading competitors and significant vet clinics in the US market and collected all the best practices they use on their sites.
